Sabal Palm Equity was founded by Howard Singer.  Prior to SPE, Howard spent over a dozen years as a Consumer and Services investor at Berkshire Partners, a 35+ year-old private equity firm with $23 billion in assets under management. His investments total over $2B in transaction value and include businesses such as SRS Distribution, CrossFit, and Fast Growing Trees, where Howard serves on the Board of Directors.  Prior to his time at Berkshire, Howard worked at Bain & Company in their New York office.

Howard received a BS in Economics from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and an MBA from Harvard Business School.​
